School-based Mental Health Enhancement Programme

School-based Mental Health Enhancement Programme

The School-based Mental Health Enhancement Programme aims to engage all stakeholders on campus, including parents, teachers and students, to join hands in suicide prevention of the youth by learning to identify and address youth’s emotional needs.

Mental Well-being Education for Teachers and Parents

  • We offer training for parents and teacher topics including depression, anxiety, stress management, listening and communication and others, enabling adults to identify vulnerable children and provide support to prevent youth suicide.

Youth Ambassador Training

  • We coach secondary students in giving emotional support to peers with practical mental health knowledge, such as stress management, listening and communication and empathy building.

School-based Consultation on Demand

  • Crisis consultation is available to school administrators. Advice will be tailored according to needs of individual schools with regards to students’ self-harm behaviour and suicidal risks.

The programme is free of charge. For inquiries, please contact Mr Mak or Mr Lau at [email protected] or 2515 1117 / 5324 7413.
