There is no answering machine or automated response system on our hotline. If you call us you will either speak to a Samaritan or hear the busy signal. Please do try again if you hear a busy signal.
All our volunteers answer calls in English, but most also speak Cantonese and Mandarin, and other languages.
Samaritans listen in total confidence and without judgement, whatever your situation. To ensure absolute confidentially, we do not have calling number display on our telephones.
